Meridell has over 100 fruit trees, mostly apple, that produce bountifully each harvest season. These beautiful orchards also serve as stunning backdrops for photographs.
Around 1910, George Dash purchased Meridell Park–then known as Mosquito Springs–and planted many saplings that have now grown to be well over 100 feet tall. The tall trees create a lovely shaded area where families and friends can congregate and escape the heat.
When it comes to water at Meridell, our cup surely runneth over. Meridell is home to several artesian springs that supply water to the park and surrounding fields. The natural ponds provide nice homes to several wild ducks and geese.
